La Virée

Traditional Acadian music is at the heart of La Virée, but its members often borrow from folklore to create a contemporary folk sound.

In addition to its own compositions, the group performs a variety of popular toe-tapping airs from the Acadian songbook, and sometimes from Quebec and Brittany. The joyous mix includes lively violin reels. La Virée’s music is guaranteed to have you dancing, jumping, twirling and reeling!
